Rough-Bark maple – seedling, 6 years from seed. 9″ wide, 4″ tall, Japanese terra-cotta training container. Seed sourced from a grafted rough-bark tree. The named variety is “Arakawa” and has deep bumpy bark. Because this is a seedling, the exact bark characteristics may differ from the parent. Trees that are propagated by cutting and/or grafting are exact genetic duplicates, while seedlings can have characteristics that differ significantly from the parent tree. Based on the barking characteristics to-date I would expect that this tree will have rough bark, but may not produce the exact bark pattern of the Arakawa variety.

$400 – SOLD.

I am very interested in this tree but wanted to know if there is a way to hold the tree/take partial payment until spring?

I am in just outside of Detroit and while I would love to have the tree in my possession I know that a climate change at this time of year would be a bad idea.

    Thank you very much!

      Hi Raymond,

Sorry to say that this one is sold. I have two other Arakawa – rough bark – maples but they are both upright. I’ll email you some images.
